About Metamora's Celebration / Scheduled Events for the 2007 Celebration / Directions / Celebration Map / Our Thanks

Once each year, for 2 days in the Fall, the streets of Metamora are filled
with horses, horse owners and horse lovers.
Early on Saturday morning the crisp, cool air stirs with excitement as the hounds, horsemen and horses of the Metamora Hunt Club gather at the Historical White Horse Inn to begin their hunt, passing through the streets of Metamora and greeting visitors to Metamora and The Celebration of the Horse festivities.
A horse-drawn trolly conveys visitors from the parking areas
at Metamora Products and Metamora Lions Club
to a Pancake Breakfast at the Masonic Lodge.
Later, around 11 am, the Celebration Parade fills the streets...
Children's activities, breed displays, the farmer's market, vendor's displays, training demos, talks and demos by farriers, pony rides, team penning, stable tours, historic carriage rides, veterinarians, line dancing, a quadrille, and food, food and more food highlight the days of the Celebration!
